Who doesn't love a good home-made lasagne!
My slice was pretty huge,
what can I say I love good food especially lasagne,

INGREDIENTS

Box of Lasagne Sheets
Sliced Onions
Chicken Mince
1 Tin Tomato Paste
Normal Masalas (Tumeric, Red Chilli Powder, Ground Coriander, Ground Cumin)
Salt
1 Chopped Tomato
1 - 2 Cups of Frozen Mixed Vegetables (depends on how much veggies you like, you could also chop up and use fresh veggies)
White Sauce (as a cheat you can use a the white sauce powder and mix with water, milk and red chilli powder)
Cheese
Robertson's Mixed Herbs and Parsley
Chopped Robot Peppers (cubed red, green and yellow peppers)

METHOD

  1. Braise the sliced onions in olive oil and little water, till golden brown.
  2. When close to golden, lower the heat and quickly add the chicken mince, some water so it doesn't burn quickly and cook till done.
  3. When done add tomato paste, normal masalas, grated tomato and the mixed vegetables.
  4. Cook till done and add the white sauce.
  5. When it's cooked for a while than take off the heat and you can now layer it into a pyrex dish.
  6. Layer the cooked mince in a pyrex dish, top with the first lasagne sheets.
  7. Repeat for another layer or 2 depending on how much mince was cooked.
  8. Finish off with the last layer of lasagne sheets, robot peppers, lots of grated cheese, sprinkle Robertson's Mixed Herbs and Dry Parsley.
  9. Place in the oven and bake at 180 degrees, till golden and done.

    1. Wasalam, no I didn't. I place the raw sheets on top of the hot cooked mince, also since the filling is quite saucy it cooked perfectly in the oven.

    1. Yes but only after you have cooked it. And than you give it all one quick boil so all the ingredients fuse together, before moving to the 'layering' step.

    1. How different is your recipe, I would love to know another style. I know another way is to not use white sauce and just use the sauce you cooked the mince it, we do that sometimes as well.
