Chicken Nibbles (RAMADAN SAVOURY)
Saturday, May 09, 2015I cannot emphasise enough how much I love this savoury! And weirdly its the savoury they never seem to fry enough off come Ramadan time! Anyway its so delicious and I love it so much, and so I am sharing the recipe with you all, its super easy and very yummy so 100% worth it.

CHICKEN MARINADE
1kg Chicken Breast Cubed (1 inch width)
3 - 4 Tb Tomato Sauce
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Tb Olive Oil
4 - 5 Tb Sweet Chili Sauce
1 1/2 Tb corn flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2 Tb Olive Oil
4 - 5 Tb Sweet Chili Sauce
1 1/2 Tb corn flour
1/2 tsp salt
- Marinate for a couple of hours, preferably over night.
- Now skew on 2-3 cubed pieces on to a toothpick and place on a tray.
- Continue till all the meat has been placed on the toothpicks.
- Next, roll each in toothpicks in breadcrumbs, make sure all the meat is covered in the breadcrumbs (you can used crushed cornflakes if you don't want to buy or make breadcrumbs).
- Place each one after rolling in breadcrumbs back onto the tray and place in the freezer for a couple of hours so they harden.
- When they are hard you can pack into a tupperware and place back in the freezer and you can fry when ever you please.
- Fry in hot shallow oil for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Salaams before frying do you defrost them or fry frozen?
