If you have been following my blog for a while you know how much 
I love prawns!
I love experimenting with new recipes and my favorite is always grilled prawns. 
This is a simple recipe we tried recently
and it was a hit!

- INGREDIENTS - 
Lemon Juice
Lemon Pepper

Portuguese Sauce
Freshly Crushed Garlic
Garlic Sauce
Ground Cumin
Peri-Peri Oil
Fresh Parsley
Blobs of Butter

- SAUCE -

Butter 
Lemon Juice 
Portuguese Sauce 



- METHOD -


  1. Marinate your prawns overnight. 
  2. Grill in the oven till they're half way cooked. 
  3. Bring the sauce to boil and pour over the prawns.
  4. Leave to simmer in the oven till they're done. 
  5. Serve hot with a crispy salad and use the leftover sauce to pour over each servings.

    Looks yummy, how spicy is spicy? I can't really eat spicy hot as it upset my stomach , I in sha Allah will make the recipe for my husband he loves fish and spicy

    1. Wasalam Sister :) How spicy totally depends on you, this does not have any chillies directly so it's not extremely strong, if you would like you may put less cumin as well as use a mild portuguese sauce. Hope you give it a try and enjoy!

  3. I love prawns but I am not a fan of spice. I haven't tried Portugese sauce ever. Will find that out and hope to give this recipe a try. My favorite prawn dish is always prawns in lemon butter sauce.

    1. Hands down the lemon butter sauce is my family's favourite and for years it was our ride or die recipe for grilled prawns. But no lie we got so tired of the same old thing we started experimenting with recipes and we haven't stopped cause they just taste so good.

    1. I think you should be able to, I've never cooked either but I think crab may taste especially nice with this recipe as well.

  7. I'm not a fan of prawns but this dish looks tasty. I imagine it would go well with noodles or perhaps some stir veggies too. :)

    1. lol you have to try it! For big prawns I prefer to grill them and small shrimps I prefer to cook them in a curry. Let me know if you do try it how it goes.
