EID PREP TIME!
I cannot believe Eid is almost here...again.
Time really flies!

This dessert came out so yummy,
and if you love licorice this will be your go to dessert.
Don't get this confused with the Licorice Ice-cream Dessert I have posted before,
which I will link
 HERE
for those that want to check that out.
Again you know me and my love for cold, non-baked desserts,
so this is the perfect refreshing dessert.

To all my Muslim viewers
I hope you have a blessed week,
and an amazing Eid.
Please remember me and my family in your duas (prayers).

1 Litre milk
Condensed Milk (to sweeten)
Woolworths Licorice Toffee Sweets (small packet)

  • When adding the condensed milk to the milk taste as your pour so it's not over sweet.
  • Allow the licorice toffee sweets to melt in the above mixture, by boiling on low heat.
  • Then, add 2 tsp falooda ghas powder (check the asian/Indian section of the super market).
  • Add a small tin of nestle cream or fresh cream and whisk well.
  • When the mixture has thickened a bit, pour into moulds and place in the fridge for a couple of hours till it has set.
  • When you're about to serve drizzle some fresh cream over the dessert or melted milky bar chocolate.

  9. You can find it in Malako (if that is how you spell it) I know its a store in the uk. Also if you don't you can try using geletin (halal) to help set it because it is a jelly, falooda is actually the indian version of jelly. But I know it can be found because my mum saw last time she was there.

    1. It is so different, and you can top up with sprinkles and color it up if that's what you prefer. If you cannot find falooda you can substitute it with gelatin, basically the falooda helps set it in a jelly form so it can be substituted.
