There’s just something undeniably satisfying about a good mozzarella
stick - the golden, crispy coating, the viral cheese pull, and that first
bite of gooey, cheesy goodness. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, that these
Nashville Hot Honey Mozzarella Sticks are dangerously addictive.
A month ago, my explore page was practically bursting with mozzarella
stick cheese pulls, and I knew I had to make my own version. That’s how
this fiery, sweet-and-spicy fusion came to life, and honestly, zero
regrets. The crispiness of the coating, the creamy cheese centre, and that
hot honey glaze? An elite combo.
These make the perfect appetiser or side dish, it’s great for grazing
boards, food platters, match-day snacks, as a cheeky treat, or as a
braai/bbq side. You can enjoy them as is, or do what I did and coat them
in a sticky Nashville Hot Honey Sauce (a sauce I was originally saving for
something else… but it was too good not to use here!). I also paired them

So when I made this, I doubled the recipe because I made extra to freeze
and use on another day, which is why there’s more in the pictures in the
video. However, my recipe below is for one block (300g), so don’t stress
about having to cut the recipe in half.
Now, one block is still A LOT of cheese...can there be such a
thing lol yes! So,
my suggestion would be to cut thinner strips, halve the strips or
cut into 1-inch bite-size cubes
- which is what I’ll be doing the next time I make these.
