It's Summer baby!!!
Well actually it's spring,
Anyway the weather is amazing alhamdulillah,
winter seemed to drag on a bit more in my opinion
which is why we need some yummy beautiful drinks
to serve on our family weekend bbqs/braais!
This is super easy to make,
it is super yummy as well.
Got to try this is winter actually and it was so good
but I saved it for Spring/Summer.

- INGREDIENTS -

1L Water
1 Cup Sugar
3 Small Lemons (2 big Lemons)
1 Lime
Handful Crushed Mint (Fresh)
Handful Mint (garnish)
4 TB Rose's Grenadine Syrup

- METHOD -

  1. Juice your lemons and lime.
  2. Crush your mint leaves in a jug making sure it's like pulp so the flavour fuses with the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Add your water and the juice from the lemons and lime.
  4. Next, add the sugar and mix well.
  5. Do a taste test to see how sweet it is, depending on how sweet you want it you can add more sugar, if it is too sweet you can add more lemon juice.
  6. Now add your Rose's Grenadine Syrup and mix well.
  7. Finally strain the mix into another jug and freeze for a couple of hours.
  8. For an extra serving point, you can sugar coat the rim of your glasses as well as garnish with some fresh mint.

  1. This looks heavenly! What do you crush the mint with? Could you boil it with the sugar? I can't wait to try this!

    1. I just use the back of a wooden spoon to crush the mint lol or you get the mocktail stamper (I'm a horrible food blogger I cannot remember what it's called). Also I suggest using castor/granulated sugar because it dissolves faster (however normal sugar works too) because we don't boil anything.
